How nodrix — the software you deploy — handles data.

Last updated: June 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how nodrix — the open-source software you deploy — handles data. nodrix is self-hosted and single-tenant: it runs entirely within your own Cloudflare account, and all of your data stays there. The only information that ever leaves your deployment is anonymous, aggregate usage statistics about the instance itself (described in section 1) — never your data, and never anything that identifies you.

1. Anonymous usage statistics

So the project can tell how many self-hosted deployments exist and stay active, the nodrix worker sends a small anonymous usage ping to a project-operated collector (telemetry.nodrix.live): once when the owner account is first created, and then once a day.

Each ping contains only a random instance identifier (not derived from you, your account, or your domain), the nodrix version, which integration types are configured, aggregate counts (such as the number of projects), and which features are enabled. It never contains IP addresses, your device telemetry or any variable values, the names of your projects, variables, or dashboards, account identifiers, email addresses, or any other personal data — and the collector does not log the request's IP. Because nodrix is open source, exactly what is sent can be verified in the source code. The data is anonymous and is sent automatically; there is no separate opt-out.

2. Where your data resides

nodrix is single-tenant. When you deploy it, the platform is provisioned into your own Cloudflare account, and all of your data — device telemetry, variables, dashboards, automations, and their history — is stored only in that account's Cloudflare D1, R2, Durable Objects, and KV. There is no nodrix-operated server between your devices and your deployment, and the project has no access to your instance or its data.

3. Data ownership and control

You own and control all data in your deployment. You determine how long it is retained, you can export it at any time through the read API, and you can delete it at any time by removing the relevant records or the underlying Cloudflare resources. Because the project never holds a copy of your data, there is nothing to request from us.

4. Processing on Cloudflare

nodrix runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Your deployment and the data it processes are therefore also subject to Cloudflare's terms of service and privacy policy; by deploying nodrix, you are using Cloudflare directly. The region in which your data is stored is determined by your own Cloudflare account and configuration.

5. Third-party integrations

If you configure integrations — for example email, webhooks, or chat services such as Slack, Telegram, or Discord — data you choose to send through them is transmitted to those providers and handled under their respective terms and privacy policies. You control which integrations are enabled and what they send.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date shown above.

About this website

nodrix.live is our marketing website and is separate from the product described above. Like most websites, it uses standard analytics — Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics — to understand which pages are useful, and it is served through Cloudflare. These apply only while you browse this site, collect nothing about any nodrix deployment, and can be blocked with your browser or a privacy extension.
